If so, you don’t want to work at Tensing. What you see is an employee of Water Company Riverland, who is, while enjoying the beautiful view, working on data on a map of the Kadaster.

It is his task to check if the environmental regulations are being followed. It’s our job to make sure he knows on the spot on which land he is and to whom it belongs, so he can act effectively once he finds something wrong.

With his tablet PC he can connect to the server at the office in order to obtain data about his location. When data needs to be altered, he can do so directly on the data file on the server. Mobile GIS, geo-informatics, mobile date communication. It’s innovative and gives visible result and it is a challenge to make. That is what we like to do, no matter what name it has.
