CEO

"As a CEO I am responsible for the communication of Tensing to the outside world and for the sale of our services and products to our customers. It’s important that the outside world gets a fair image of Tensing and what we have to offer. After we have signed the contract, we want to keep our customer satisfied. We offer innovative products which are often new to their organization. Therefore, trust is a very important factor and we cultivate it with our customers. We do what we promise."

"The sales and marketing staff need tools to do their work. We do not program, but use modern software to have our own organization operate efficiently and effectively as well as our customers’ organization.

"Our CRM system is much more than just a repository for customer information that’s never used. Almost everyone who works at Tensing, has access to this system. We all store correspondence, e-mails and conversation reports in the CRM system. Everyones agenda is well organized and easily accessible. Openness characterizes Tensing: only by sharing information and by cooperating we can be successful."

"We have a track record of more than 20 years. When we started the company, we only had a hand-full people. Now we are already have about 75 colleagues including the USA. However the atmosphere has not changed substantial. Everyone is involved and enthusiastically, believes in the success of the products and the knowledge of the colleagues. That is what makes working at Tensing fun. Many colleagues think so as well as they also built friendships outside the office."

"It is great to come to one of the yearly informal activities, such as a barbeque, a holiday dinner or the Santa Clause celebration to get to know the families of my colleagues. Without a doubt these types of social activities are something to look forward to by myself and many of my colleagues. I think we have a beautiful mix of professionalism and spirit on the one hand and sociable and pleasant surroundings on the other hand."

"Is there life outside Tensing? Of course! We all work hard and sometimes we work overtime but relaxation is important for everyone at Tensing. Sailings on Tensing’s beautiful and fast 50-feet traditional sailbaot, a bike ride around the park, cooking (and eating) and of course time with my family, keeps the balance. Also after all these years Tensing is still the ideal combination of ambition, innovation, fun and the human measure."
